Meet Abigail

Abigail Rubin has been in the New York City restaurant scene for over a decade. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, she honed her skills at such establishments as Marea, Gramercy Tavern, Carbone, and Union Square Events. She then became the Pastry Chef at The Dutch, creating seasonal American desserts with a creative twist.

Since the pandemic changed plans for almost everyone, Abigail switched to doing more freelance work, such as a summer stint at the Relais and Chateau property Dunton Hot Springs, and developing the menu for the soft serve concept Softside.

While she enjoyed challenging herself and going outside her comfort zone, she missed making pastries full time. She is currently the pastry chef at JM Bakery, Jiho Kim’s new pastry venture.
